Our Travel Program is one of the most popular aspects and has provided more than 1,500 adults with the opportunity to travel to different regions of the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Far East.
As Lynne would say, “Group touring is a way for senior adults to experience with enthusiasm the wonders of the world.
We had 92 people in attendance, and at least 30% were either new to us or not regular attenders.
We do the planning and execution of details, and you can comfortably and safely be escorted with new and old friends to destinations of interest and adventure.” Coming in 2014, there will be a new focus on Workforce and Career Training opportunities for senior adults returning to the workforce or simply wanting to expand their horizons in specific areas.
If you would like to be added to the Senior Adult and Travel FOCUS Newsletter mailing list or for more information on program offerings please contact the Center for Workforce & Community Development at 281.425.6311.
