If you have children, the effects of divorce will be passed along to them. This makes getting married a second time serious business. You have lived through it and you know it can happen again.
Apart from the LORD, there is nothing that can keep you from being divorced.

I see alot of Christians openly date, even in church -while going through a divorce. Is the church responsible to hold accountable these actions if they know, especially if someone is serving at church or on staff?
Jesse If by "date" you mean going out with friends, with no intention of getting serious, maybe there is no issue, other than avoiding the appearance of evil.
If one of the partners begins to lose interest in God, then you can be divorced at any time, for any reason.
