what should I be aware about if I use this memory if it ain't in the QVL list?
Ro G Flashback is not possible on the CHVF mate, as there is no Ro G Connect button..should remember this after the probs I had with my BIOS lol it will however, apparently be available on the Z Revision And it was available on the CHIVF, I know I used it two different times.
I guess that is why it keep getting Referenced here plus Marshal stated that it was removed from the CHV in the Tweektown Thread while Hi Viz Man was away, so he didn't know.
And it was available on the CHIVF, I know I used it two different times.
You should be lucky enough to have gotten one with at least that BIOS revision number Prior to my build, I was nervouse about the bios being upto date enough that i'd have no problem installing my FX 8150.
I could swear I saw a video of someone doing exactly what you have asked, but no I cannot find it. My board came with 1102 so i was in the clear and didnt have to worry too much about it. I don't know how common this process is, but I have seen Asus and at least one other manufacturers offer this capability.
